INTRODUCTION

Discover the exciting EBCA Exchange Program, a fantastic opportunity for EBCA members to connect with a global coaching network. Exchange Coaches get to experience advanced coaching techniques abroad, taking their skills to the next level beyond Europe.

This program perfectly complements the EBCA Convention and other clinics by providing hands-on learning opportunities. Each exchange is unique, tailored to different hosts and programs, offering diverse coaching experiences.

Selected coaches handle their airfare costs, while hosts typically cover lodging, transportation, and most meals. The program usually runs during the offseason, so it won't interfere with in-season duties.

Plus, EBCA partners with MLB's Coaching Development Program, giving a lucky EBCA coach the chance to visit an MLB club during the Fall Instructional League every year. Together, these initiatives boost coaching expertise among EBCA members.

How to be selected?

Ready to join the EBCA Exchange Program? Here's how to get started:

Membership Requirement: Ensure you have a valid Premium Membership for the current year. Not a member yet? Sign Up.
Application Process:
- Download the EBCA Exchange Program Application Form.
- Complete the form and send it to:
Selection Procedure:
- The EBCA Exchange Coordinator will conduct interviews, ideally during the EBCA Convention.
- If you can't attend the Convention, we'll arrange a Skype or phone interview if your application meets our criteria.

Expectations for Exchange Coaches:

Represent EBCA and European baseball with enthusiasm and openness to new ideas.
Once assigned to a host organization, EBCA will facilitate introductions and trip details.
Keep us updated on your schedule and share your experiences through our blog.
Submit a post-exchange report and potentially contribute drills or coaching tips to the EBCA community.
